Average life expectancy can certainly rise to several hundred years.Īnother possibility is that the War itself didn't start that far ahead, instead occurring sometime in the 'near' future, but it continued on for several hundred years - long enough to completely change the face of the world as we know it. Given enough time, it is very likely that the medical improvements achievable with Radianite would be enough to immensely increase lifespan, perhaps even to the extent of stopping aging. Within just 10 years of discovering Radianite, Kingdom has been able to use it for groundbreaking advancements in technology and medicine. While it may seem confusing at first how any individual would be able to live for long enough to still be alive at the time of the RW, it is important to consider all the changes that would have occurred between now and then. KAY/O claims that several of the Agents in-game fight either alongside or against him in the war. It is likely that Reyna was also the instigator of the war, caused by her burning pride for her Radiance and her hatred for humans and technology. This is referenced by multiple of KAY/O's voicelines. While the direct linchpin that caused the war is unknown, we do know that Reyna went on to become the leader of the Radiant side. The main conflict of the war was between Radiants and normal humans. This leaves a lot to speculation, and so everything here should be taken with a grain of salt. Since the war is only a theorized event that took place in KAY/O's future, almost all we know of it is from KAY/O's voicelines and Agent trailer.
